PSHE, is an important aspect of school life and is integrated into the everyday curriculum. We have changed the initials of PSHEE to PSHRE in our new documents. We have purchased 1Decision as our scheme.

We aim to equip children and young people with the knowledge and skills to deal with a range issues they face as they grow up. It covers:


  • drugs and alcohol education (Drugs policy)
  • emotional health and well-being
  • relationships and sex education (RSE policy)
  • nutrition and physical activity
  • personal finance
  • safety
  • careers education
  • work-related learning




PSHE statement of intent

To develop children’s understanding of PSHE and provide them with a foundation of life skills across all contexts (home/school/community) and time spans (primary/secondary/later life).We encourage safe and happy relationships and respect all protected characteristics of the Equality Act.
