PSHE 11.5.20 Week 8
This week we will be thinking about 'Being in someone else's shoes'. This will look at empathy and how we might try and think about how others may feel.
Starter: Using someone else's shoe's powerpoint look at the pictures and discuss with someone in your family how you might feel if you were in a similar situation.
Main: Continue exploring the key questions in the powerpoint;
- If someone was on their own eating their lunch, how might they feel? If someone was on their own eating their lunch, how might they feel?
-What could you do to change how they feel?
-If someone was crying about coming to school, what might be wrong?
-What could you do to help?
-What do we mean by “In Someone Else’s Shoes?”
Plenary: Can you think about why sometimes it is important to think about things from a different point of view. What are the barriers to this?
Using the questions write your ideas down and share them with your friends.
