Julie Cook

Chair of Governors

My previous experience of being a Governor was several years ago when my own children were younger. I have been a Governor at Victoria Road since June 2016.

In a past life I was a Business Manager for Plymouth City Council and am now employed as an Executive Assistant for a local IT firm, Delt Shared Services. 

I have lived in Plymouth since a young age and live in the west of the city.

 

 

Andrew Burt

I am a local authority governor for Victoria Road Primary School, and have been since 2009. I am a chartered radiation protection professional, and I currently work for Babcock in Devonport Royal Dockyard as a Project Manager. I was born and raised in Plymouth, and currently live in the North of the City with my wife.

Daniel Phillips

Dan has recently become a parent governor, and has two children who attend the school. He lives in St Budeaux with his wife and three children, and works for the charity, The Prince's Trust

 

Laura Henshaw

Laura is a Local Authority governor and works as the Deputy Headteacher at Cann Bridge Special School and one of our safeguarding Governors.

Dean Bennett

 

Dean has recently become a  co-opted governor on the Board of Governors at Victoria Road Primary School. He is Managing Director of China Fleet Country Club, Saltash and has over 200 employees across various professions. Dean has been in his current position for over 4 years and has always  been a Plymouth Resident.
